How does it work?

The HydraFacial® delivers proprietary serums that are clinically formulated to target skin issues including sun damage, blackheads and whiteheads, enlarged pores, acne, brown spots, uneven skin tone, and early aging fine lines and wrinkles. Growth factors stimulate the production of collagen and elastin fibers, which decrease at a rate of 1% per year after the age of 20.

HYDRAFACIAL®  ENHANCEMENTS

LED Therapy: LED Therapy has been clinically proven to offer a wide range of benefits to the skin. When used as part of the HydraFacial MD®, it can be applied after specialty booster or immediately after the last step of the treatment to assist in product penetration and stimulate cellular activity. Red light improves circulation, reduces inflammation, and restores collagen production, while Blue light has great anti-bacterial benefits which aid in treating acne. Both Red and Blue LED are used simultaneously for maximum results.

How to Prepare for HydraFacial®

During the week prior to your HydraFacial®:

• Do not tan or use a self-tanner
• Do not use aggressive scrubs or masks
• Do not get Botox or Injectable Fillers
• Discontinue prescription strength Retin A

 

What Happens After A Hydrafacial®?

Your skin will feel smooth, healthy and hydrated.  Lines and wrinkles will be less noticeable. You can be slightly red to pink for two hours, but makeup can be applied immediately.

 

How Often Should You Receive a HydraFacial®?

Ideally, once every four to six weeks for optimum skin care. For certain skin conditions,  a HydraFacial® can be performed every one to two weeks for initial correction.

 

Who is it for?

The HydraFacial® is suitable for all skin types, including those with sensitive skin and acne grades I and II.

 

The most common contraindications for the treatment include:

• The use of Accutane and other acne medications
• Pregnancy
• Botox & fillers (wait 7 days)
• Laser, Chemical Peels, or other aggressive resurfacing treatments (consult with your HydraFacial® Specialist)
• Eczema or Psoriasis

 

How many treatments will I need?
